What is Epstein-Barr Virus (HHV-4) ?

HHV-4 Includes a dual cell tropism for Individual B-lymphocytes (generally non-productive disease ) and epithelial cells (productive infection). There’s absolutely no acceptable animal host, but replication/latency has been studied extensively in transformed human cell lines. 1.      EBV Assays and Components
